BEGINNER's Taster Workshop *** NEW ***

Students will work with an oxygen/propane torch using colourful glass rods and learn glass beadmaking using basic techniques of melting and forming. Thereafter shaping and decorating with hot glass stringers (pictures below). Students also learn about the safety and special equipment needed for glass bead making.

As the numbers of students are very small (max 4 students per sessions) individual attention is assured. Workshops will take place subject to minimum enrolement of 2 students per class. Materials included.

BEGINNER's Full Day Workshop

Next Date >> Saturday 3rd March 10:00 to 16:30 Cost Euro 140 ** only four places **

During the one day workshop we will cover the following: Surface decoration: using frit (ground glass) dots, stringers (thin strands of glass), or twists (combined glass strands). These applications are springboard to allow the student create an unlimited number of design variations.

As the numbers of students are very small (max 4 students per class) individual attention is assured. Workshops will take place subject to minimum enrolement of 2 students per class.

The cost of the workshop is 140 Euro. Materials and light lunch are included in price.

INTERMEDIATE Full Day Workshop

Students that have completed the Beginners Workshops can learn new techniques and advance to a more creative style. The cost of the Intermediate Workshop is 150 Euro. Max 4 Students.

ADVANCED Full Day Workshop

Students that have Intermediate Level skills can progress on this focused advanced level workshop.

Focussing on Heat Control, Stringer Application & Decoration with hand made murrine, Lentil Beads

and use of enamel.

As the numbers of students are very small (max 4 students per class) individual attention is assured. Workshops will take place subject to minimum enrolement of 2 students per class.

Materials and light lunch are included in price.
